It can be such a great place for people to get info, promote your parties, ask questions, vent about deployments, kids, husbands, money or anything in between. It is a great resource for first time preggos and new moms, get advice, set up play dates and make new friends. So lets see how well we can do with getting this place in action. Hi Courtney and everyone else! My name is Kelly! I am a WAHM to two little boys ages 2 and almost 5. We moved to San Diego from Quantico, VA about a year ago or more. I never remember. lol. I am also an Executive Director for Passion Parties! Have been doing parties for almost 5 years now and LOVE what I do. I love getting together for play dates and having mommy nights as well. lol. 

Agreed lets get this going!!! Hello Ladies, My name is Amber I am a Mother to a 3 1/2 year old boy... We just got off of Recruiting Duty yay we made it lol... I am currently a Sahm due to the cost of childcare... I am a hair stylist and love what I do... I am new to the Military (the fleet).. I am always looking for moms who want to hang out or let the kids play.. 

We are on RD now...it really stinks! It is pretty tough on everyone but we are already 6 months down! I am so ready for this to be over with. How are you liking the fleet? 

I like it.. RD was like he was always working and never home.. Where is your hubby Recruiting? 3 years flies by all the wives i talk to say its a nice break.. 

Ambi, I agree about always working. Yesterday was his first day off since New Years and that is only because he won a challange against his SNCOIC. It is just crazy! I am glad he doesn't deploy but I miss the fleet. :) 

Ya like if they didn't make mission they couldn't get weekends or holidays off =(... we got together shortly after he came to recruit in my home town so lucky for me I had Friends and family.. 

Glad to see other people are checking this site! I have been going to Pendleton UG cause this one is so slow and no one has been coming on. And there are a few people from Miramar on the PU! I am on base and I currently don't work but I am looking! I am getting so tired of not working and staying home all day! I would like to find other ladies to hang out with either during the day or out for a ladies night! My hubs goes and hangs out with his buddies almost every weekend (only one night) and I stay home cause I have nothing else to do and don't know anyone! I don't have any kids but love them! The friends I had in 29 Palms had kids and I would always go over and hang out with them and help them whenever I could! I hope we can get more people to use this site! We have been here since Oct and I haven't met a soul!! 

Why don't we set up a playdate at Murphy Canyon Park? Kids or no kids, that way we can finally meet each other! Murphy Canyon is over in Murphy Canyon housing and is a great park for kids of all ages. Let me know what ya'll think! I am free most Tuesday and Thursdays

We're actually stationed at Pendleton, but live on the Encinitas/Carlsbad line so we're about halfway between bases. No kids, but 2 cats :) I'd love to get together sometime too.

We use to live in Murphy Canyon, I couldn't imagine commuting all the way to Pendleton. I think a meet up sounds great (though we don't live there anymore). I highly recommend a ladies lunch at Tio Leos!
